DYMAG x DOREMI CH3A: Classic H-section DYMAG Wheels for the Z900RS!
DYMAG x DOREMI CH3A
The CH3 is a cast magnesium H-section wheel made by Dymag in the UK, which graced the bottoms of many motorcycles during the customization boom of the '90s. The design has been inherited by the forged aluminum “CH3A,” and a set of these CH3A wheels for the Z900RS has recently been released as a DOREMI COLLECTION exclusive product.
The H-section name is derived from the H-shaped cross-section of the three spokes, which was designed to balance strength and light weight. These CH3A wheels by DOREMI COLLECTION have a bolt-on specification for the front and rear hubs specifically for the Z900RS and use modern materials and forging technology to maintain the same weight as the originals. The classic DYMAG logo is also affixed, which is sure to be a delight for those who remember the good old days.
The spokes are faithful reproductions of those on the cast magnesium CH3 that these wheels pay homage to, and the name H-section comes from the H-shaped cross-section of these spokes.
The front and rear hub sections are designed exclusively for the Z900RS. Hub dampers are also inserted on the sprocket side of the rear wheel hub.
The wheel sizes of 3.50-17 (front) and 5.50-17 (rear) are the same as stock. The fact that stock parts can be used for the sprockets and brake discs is also reassuring for long-lasting enjoyment. Two colors are available: Gold and Matte Black.
The reproduction of the classic DYMAG logo, which is the type of extra touch we expect from DOREMI COLLECTION, will please any old-school custom enthusiast.
