Honda unveils the “CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE” featuring DAYTONA x Dope parts at the DAYTONA Morimachi Rally in Shizuoka!

At the 14th DAYTONA Morimachi Rally in Shizuoka held on September 23 at the Daytona Co., Ltd. headquarters test course, Honda showcased the CL500 (COOL ADVENTURE STYLE, a new custom style based on the CL250 and CL500. This model introduces a fresh approach to customizing the CL series.

A new style to enjoy the CL250/500 even more

The CL series, popular for its lightweight handling and easy-to-ride nature, has long embraced the scrambler style. Currently, the lineup includes the water-cooled DOHC single-cylinder CL250 and the water-cooled DOHC twin-cylinder CL500. In October, Honda will add the CL250 E-Clutch, equipped with the new Honda E-Clutch system.

The newly unveiled CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE draws on the CL series’ inherent capability and design while emphasizing a lifestyle theme: moving freely between urban and natural environments. This concept goes beyond treating the bike as a simple means of transport, positioning it as an integrated part of everyday life.

The CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE features parts primarily from the trusted motorcycle parts manufacturer DAYTONA, in collaboration with Dope, known for customizing Rebel and CL series bikes. All components are available from authorized Honda motorcycle dealers.

■Matte black finish gives the CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE a sharp, bold look while showcasing the CL’s potential.

■Low-mount exhaust and redesigned seat and tank offer a distinctive look compared to stock.

■Here’s a stock CL500. With DAYTONA x Dope parts, starting with the tank cover, the bike’s overall image is transformed.

Combining DAYTONA x Dope parts with Moriwaki exhaust

The first thing that catches the eye on the CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE is the design of the fuel tank (cover). The stock CL tank features a cut design along the frame at the front bottom. The DAYTONA x Dope tank cover replaces it with a full-size design that envelops the frame. With relatively few body parts on the CL series, this change gives the bike a more classic and substantial appearance.

Paired with this tank cover is the DAYTONA x Dope Studded Scrambler Seat, which complements the tank design and creates a sleek, stylish silhouette.

■Serving as the focal point, the DAYTONA x Dope tank cover gives the bike a whole new character.

■The Studded Scrambler Seat by DAYTONA x Dope adds a slightly rugged style.

The handlebars are DAYTONA x Dope’s Scrambler Handlebar, paired with HIGHSIDER Bar-End Mirrors Conero (Long) to emphasize a lower profile. The front forks already have fork boots, but the addition of DAYTONA x Dope’s Front Suspension Covers (Leather) between the stem and top bridge gives a tighter, more refined look.

■The Scrambler Handlebar with the integrated-brace from DAYTONA x Dope is fitted on the bike.

■DAYTONA bar-end mirrors, installed with adapters, visually lower the bike.

■The leather-style DAYTONA x Dope Front Suspension Covers tighten the front-end look.

The engine is fitted with a DAYTONA Pipe Engine Guard (High-Mount Type), with an optional Fog Lamp Kit mounted above to enhance the adventure-ready feel. The exhaust is a blacked-out Moriwaki Short Megaphone Low-Mount Type Full Exhaust, designed to match the bike’s overall look. Separate versions are offered for the CL500 and CL250.

■The high-mount DAYTONA Pipe Engine Guard protects the bike while reinforcing its adventure-ready image.

■The DAYTONA Fog Lamp Kit, designed for the CL250/500, improves nighttime visibility when paired with the engine guard.

■The blacked-out exhaust system is the Moriwaki Short Megaphone Low-Mount Type Full Exhaust.

The CL500 COOL ADVENTURE STYLE is enjoyable from city streets to widing mountain roads and even light off-road terrain. Based on the CL series’ scrambler essence, this concept model offers an expanded way to enjoy the bike. What makes it especially appealing is that every part is commercially available, allowing individuals to recreate this custom style on their own.

These custom parts are compatible not only with the CL500 but also with the CL250 (Moriwaki exhausts are separately offered for each model). With the addition of the Honda E-Clutch version for the CL250, excitement around the CL series is only set to grow.
