American Dream PRIDE Z900RS Stem Kit

American Dream is a custom bike shop in Nara, Japan, that offers a wide variety of original parts for the air-cooled Z, Zephyr, and more recently, the Z900RS. A new Stem Kit for the Z900RS has been released from the shop's original brand, PRIDE. The offset value is shortened from the stock 34mm to 31.5mm in order to "make the Z900RS more enjoyable to ride on the track," according to Mr. Takashi Matsuda, representative of the shop. The top bridge, which is raised on either side in the stock design, is flat to allow for a good fit on top of the forks when converting to clip-on handlebars to increase the front load. For even more sportiness, the 95 x 36mm Black Line Swingarm is also recommended for its high turning ability and just-right rigidity. Mr. Matsuda himself is a race track aficionado, so if you are particular about your ride, we recommend trying out this product from American Dream.

The flat design of the top bridge allows it to be attached to the protruding fork tops if the handlebars are converted to clip-ons, so that the rider can take the perfect forward leaning posture.

The bracket part, which allows the stock meters to be mounted without modification, is beautifully machined from aluminum and no corners have been cut.

The backside of the top bridge/under bracket is also precisely machined to balance weight reduction and rigidity. The fork pitch is 210mm, the same as the stock value. The 31.5mm offset is compatible with stock forks, and the included handlebar post is compatible with the stock Φ28.6mm.

The top bridge is secured with two bolts and the under bracket with three. By using the stock key cylinder the handlebar can be locked.
