Here is a "YAMAHA XSR900" custom by Webike community user "chihirock". Inspired by Yamaha’s XSR900 "Knight of the 9", a concept model showcasing a masterfully executed custom build, the owner set out to recreate his dream machine with a personal touch. He entrusted a professional shop with the paintwork, bringing out the beauty of black, completing the bike with a stunning black-and-gold color scheme that feels a class above.

A big fan of BABYFACE and their gold anodized parts, the owner outfitted his XSR900 with BABYFACE components in his favorite gold finish. These include the Handlebar Ends, Performance Step Kit, Swingarm Stand Hook, and Oil Filler Cap. Having previously relied on BABYFACE Front and Rear Axle Protectors for track riding with a different bike, he decided to install them here as well for added protection. To further safeguard critical areas that could disable the bike in the event of a crash, such as the engine and pedals, he also added GB Racing Engine Covers.

The BABYFACE Performance Step Kit, mentioned earlier, is one of his favorite upgrades, as it allows for flexible positioning, letting him fine-tune his riding posture. Additionally, the setup eliminates resistance when shifting up or down, making gear changes smoother and requiring less effort. He says, "this improvement makes it easier to shift gears mid-corner, enhancing the overall riding experience."

According to the owner, the XSR900’s three-cylinder engine provides just the right balance—not overly powerful yet never lacking—while its weight remains manageable. Whether navigating city streets, cruising on the highway, or carving through winding roads, it’s the perfect machine. In both looks and performance, it embodies exactly what he was looking for.
