Here is a "YAMAHA V-MAX 1700" custom by Webike community user "An-Nii". Looking back at a photo from when he first bought this bike brand new, the owner laughs and says, “If my past self saw my VMAX now, he’d be blown away." He never originally planned on changing much, yet somehow, through meticulous part selection and color coordination, he ended up with a truly one-of-a-kind VMAX. Let’s take a look at the transformation that brought it to its current form.

In the first year, he installed a PRUNUS Full Exhaust and a Magical Racing Under Cowl. “The PRUNUS exhaust just looks incredible!” he says. He also loves the sense of heft and presence the under cowl adds to the bike. It was around this point that his customization started to snowball, and the bike’s appearance continued to evolve. Six months later, he fitted a wider rear tire for an even more imposing look. He also replaced the stock tuning fork emblem on the air intake with a star emblem and painted the intake in champagne gold. Then, just four months later, he refinished the intake in gold plating. The result was so striking that he even received a request from overseas to have his VMAX featured in a calendar.

A year after that, he installed an OTEC Full Black Anodized Clear Kit. He particularly likes the stylish look of the exposed spinning clutch. He also upgraded the front tire to a 130, enhancing the VMAX's commanding presence. He boldly converted the seat to a single setup with a Magical Racing Pillion Seat Cover, refining the rear end with a sleek, flowing design. Then, six months later, he added his very own custom "Midnight Special" emblem to the side covers, making the bike truly unique.

These days, he enjoys capturing the VMAX under the glow of city lights at night, as well as pairing it with the beauty of Japan. More than anything, though, he loves the sheer thrill of mastering the explosive acceleration.
