The Helicopter Sound Magic: Yamaha SR500 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "Yamaha SR500" custom by Webike community user "Kohanbito". The exhaust has been replaced with a PEYTON PLACE SR Conti Exhaust. It is a replica of the Ducati MHR and 750SS, and it produces a helicopter-like sound, which is very attractive. The BORE ACE Oil Cooler is chosen to cool the oil supplied to the head, which serves as the heat source for the SR400/500. Since it is not installed at the front of the bike, it can be installed without affecting the bike's handling. The handlebar is replaced with an EFFEX EZ-FIT BAR. Additionally, an EFFEX Handlebar Weight BIG and CF POSH Flat Face Throttle Cone are installed. The BORE ACE Change Assist is installed for smooth gear changes. This is a part that eliminates the loss of shaft movement in the forward/backward direction and only allows it to rotate. The stock shift change rubber had deteriorated and was replaced with a POSH Classical Change Rubber. The footpegs also have POSH Classical Footpeg Rubber. In addition to matching the classic appearance, it is also effective in reducing vibration. The SR400 is known for its strong vibration. According to the owner, he has had two license plates break so far. Therefore, a BORE ACE Anti-vibration License Plate Bracket is installed to suppress the vibration and prevent the license plate from cracking.
