According to the owner, the bike is easy to use, thanks to its powerful engine, large-capacity fuel tank, rugged body that can handle rough roads, high load capacity, and expandability. He mentions that it’s perfect for long highway tours and camping trips, allowing for enjoyable rides regardless of road conditions or weather. The engine has more than enough power for effortless cruising and passing on highways, while the ample torque ensures enjoyable handling on winding roads. He also notes that the bike’s suspension is smooth, effectively absorbing the force of impact from bumps in the road and speed bumps. With standard ABS and traction control, he feels confident and secure while riding.

The owner, who praises the V-STROM1000’s ride performance without reservation, has mainly focused on comfort and aesthetics with his customizations. Around the handlebars, SUZUKI Knuckle Covers have been installed to protect the rider's hands from rocks and wind during rides. For added comfort on winter tours, he has also installed heated grips. The mirrors were replaced with SP Takegawa Polygon Round Mirrors, which combine angular and curved design elements for a more stylish look. To improve control and reduce fatigue during tours, Techspec Grip Star Tank Pads have been added. This helps prevent slipping when gripping with the knees and scratches on the tank.
