Here is a "SUZUKI GSX1100S KATANA" custom by Webike community user "Nyaggai". The owner has been devoted to the KATANA for nearly 30 years, affectionately calling his bike “Kata-nyan.” With professional-level maintenance skills, he crafts one-off parts and handles repairs himself whenever an issue arises.
The exhaust is the classic choice for Suzuki bikes, the YOSHIMURA Machine Bent Titanium Cyclone. It boosts torque, making low-speed riding smoother and ensuring the engine revs effortlessly. After 20 years of use, scratches became noticeable, so he applied a 3D carbon sheet and took the opportunity to replace the glass wool when disassembling it, restoring its appearance as well as performance. The suspension is the trusted OHLINS Rear Suspension Legend Twin, and reinforcing 16 points on the frame, along with the swingarm pivot, has enhanced the movement of this top-tier suspension even further. Up front, the front forks have been swapped out for the inverted forks from the GSX-R1100, and the handlebars come from a ZX-9RB. Due to the lack of fork length, he extended them by 60mm himself. He also tackled a fender eliminator modification, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
For improved power transmission, he installed the ADVANTAGE FCC Traction Control Clutch Kit, a well-known reinforced clutch and a must-have for tuning the drivetrain. Ever twisted the throttle to make a pass, only to find the engine revving high without gaining speed? That’s clutch slippage, a problem that, if left unchecked, can lead to clutch plate deformation. Installing this kit solves these issues, allowing for a smooth, full-throttle experience without stress.
