Sleek Exhaust, Streamlined Fender: KAWASAKI ZX-6R Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI ZX-6R" custom by Webike community user "Asapanman". The owner, who was looking for a bike that had sporty handling even without having high power, visited a motorcycle shop just for a bit of fun. However, the high-revving four-cylinder sound of the ZX-6R immediately won him over. After reading online reviews about its cornering ability, with the tires seemingly sticking to the road, he realized this was the bike he’d been searching for and decided to make the purchase. The bike's functionality, cost-effectiveness, and the fact that, despite being a supersport, it had a comfortable riding position with good foot placement were also big selling points.
That said, the oversized stock exhaust was a concern. Wanting something more compact, the owner settled on the YOSHIMURA Slip-On R-11 Cyclone, which seemed to be the smallest option. The stock exhaust was really heavy, so reducing weight was definitely a big plus. Additionally, his bike cover wouldn’t fit properly, and it was too tight, so he opted for using the ACTIVE Fender Eliminator Kit. With a minimalist design that’s clean and stylish, it not only solved the cover issue but also gave the bike a sleeker appearance. While the price was a bit on the high side, the quality matched its reputation as a popular product.
The owner is currently debating whether or not to upgrade the brake master cylinder to a radial pump, which is highly rated among his fellow ZX-6R enthusiasts.
