Thoughtful Details: KAWASAKI ZX-25R Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI ZX-25R" custom by Webike community user "OGU". The owner swapped out the stock mirrors for bar-end mirrors, saying goodbye to the antenna-like stock look. To keep the aesthetics clean, MORIWAKI Mirror Hole Covers were attached. These covers, finished in matte black anodizing, keep things subtle, but the discreetly embossed logo adds a satisfying touch that gives it just the right amount of flair. The owner, who had been concerned about the bike’s low ride height, modified it with the NOJIMA Link Plate HIGH, raising the seat height by 23mm. This not only elevated the rear of the bike to better match the owner's preferences but also gave the bike a more supersport-like position, making cornering even more fun.
To correct the lean angle when using the side stand, an r's gear Stand Height Bracket was installed. This bracket keeps the bike more upright, making it easier to lift. Plus, the contact area of the side stand is increased by about 1.8 times, reducing the risk of sinking into soft ground when parked. The owner applied MDF Rim Stripes to the wheel rims, which can significantly change the image of the bike. The lime green accent against the black bodywork sharpens the bike's overall look.
Underneath the bike, an A-TECH Under Cowl Belly Pan was installed, neatly hiding part of the exhaust pipes. This creates a linear feel, making the entire bike look even sleeker. At the rear, KIJIMA Turn Signal Lamps were added. Though small at just 9.8 x 9.8 x 14.2mm, these ultra-compact LEDs deliver impressive brightness and visibility. When not illuminated, they blend seamlessly with the license plate, maintaining the uncluttered look.
