More power for track race enjoyment.: ZEPHYR1100 Custom
BULL DOCK's ZEPHYR1100
The Kawasaki ZEPHYR1100 has been stocked in the BULL DOCK store for many years and has been progressively customized. This time it has been updated and given a performance upgrade.
Engine
The engine was bored up to 1135cc to balance durability with more power than the previous specification. In addition to tuning the inside of the engine, the outside was also built with thorough attention to detail. The previously silver body was painted in heat-resistant black to balance the overall color of the machine. In addition, a new Mccoy engine cover and black body FCR were adopted.
A round type oil cooler was selected instead of straight type to secure wider demension to cool down hightly tuned engine.
Intake & Exhaust
The carburetor is a Keihin FCR, but this time it was changed from φ35mm to φ37mm. This change was made to match the engine specifications and to take into consideration the wear and tear of the previously used φ35mm carburetor. More power for track enjoyment.
This is a 4-2-1 exhaust system for ZEPHYR1100. In order to overcome the problem of aftermarket silencers scraping the ground, BULL DOCK designed the exhaust system so that the maximum bank angle can be secured without modifying the oil pan.
Handle
The meter covers are stock, but incorporate ACEWELL's ACE-2853 on the left and PIVOT's stepping gauges on the right.
Frame
The swingarm was changed to Mccoy in order to balance dimensions and strength, and the carbon rear inner fender with integrated chain case is also made by Mccoy.
Bodyworks
Old version of the bracket was a diversion of the one for Kawasaki Z series. Newly designed Mccoy's variable bracket for Zephyr 1100 can now hold stock meter at the right position.
Supreme Seat, which uses a unique, highly resilient urethane to reduce fatigue and to make it easier to sense information from the road surface.
Chassis
For the chassis, the Ohlins rear shocks are laying down and the frame is reinforced in four locations. The exhaust is supported by 190/55 size tires on the rear to prevent the exhaust from scraping the road surface while banking. In addition, the bracket is balanced by setting the offset amount to 30mm.
The front has upgraded for a safer, more comfortable, and more nimble sport riding experience.
The rearset has four positions to choose from. In addition to the positions, it was developed with special attention to the operability of the lever, the holdability when external load is applied, and the appearance of the step.
The rear brakes are rigidly mounted with Sunstar rotors and Brembo 2-pot calipers for control. The rear master cylinder is also Brembo.
