Sanctuary's Z1000R

Based on the stock paint pattern, the base color lime green is also arranged in metallic for a sharper look, and this Kawasaki Z1000R is a full custom by AC Sanctuary.

This custom is based on Z1000R2. 17-inch wheels are used for front and rear, and the rear tire is wider. The chainline was offset, the parts were reinforced, the stem was modified, and the bikini cowl was mounted on the frame. These changes help the rider steer quickly and smoothly. Left rear engine mount bolt is often distorted, which is a common problem in Z1000J/R series. Then, a new bracket was installed on the frame side to accommodate this, imitating the Zephyr 1100 stock configuration.

Handle

A bracket extends from the steering head pipe at the front end of the frame to mount the bikini cowl. The speedometer is on the left, the STACK tachometer is in the center, and the fuel gauge is on the right. The handlebar is POSH Super Rover, and the brake and clutch masters are Brembo RCS series.

Engine

The pistons were converted to Wossner Φ72mm forged pistons, and displacement was increased to 1075cc. The crankshaft was fixed, the dog clearance and precision shims were adjusted, the crankcase was modified for pumping loss, oversized valve guides were installed, and a gun kote finish was applied to the exterior.

The engine mount at the rear left was newly installed with a bracket inside the frame and fastened with a short bolt to prevent bending due to chain pull.

Intake & Exhaust

The carburetor is a TMR Φ36mm, and the exhaust is a combination of Nitro Racing Weldcraft Titanium and the same Grenade Titanium silencer V-3.

Chassis

The front forks are an OHLINS RWU E x M package. The stem is a SCULPTURE Φ43mm SP stem for the Zephyr 1100, with an offset of 35mm to match 17-inch wheels. The front brake is a Brembo CNC 4-piston caliper with an RCM Concept Φ320mm brake disc.

The rear brake is equipped with Brembo CNC 2-piston caliper and SUNSTAR 250mm brake disc. Rear shocks are OHLINS Blackline.

The swingarm is SCULPTURE RCM exclusive wide swingarm. Front and rear wheels are forged aluminum from OZ Racing, GASS RS-A 3.50-17 for the front and 5.50-17 for the rear. The drive chain is EK530RCM with a SUNSTAR rear sprocket, and tires are Pirelli Diablo.
