Light and Mighty: KAWASAKI NINJA 400 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI NINJA 400" custom by Webike community user "kimidori". When looking for a bike, the owner tried several models and decided on the Ninja 400 because the feeling of the ride sat well with him, and he was impressed with its light weight. Even with its lightweight body and 400cc engine, the bike is powerful, and it is easy to ride as well as to maneuver after getting off. To further increase the power, SP Tadao's POWERBOX MEGAPHONE Exhaust was installed. The concept of the Ninja 400, using lightness to its advantage to bring out top performance in its class, struck a chord with the developers at SP Tadao, and they created this exhaust combining power, sound, and light weight to bring out the high quality performance expected of a KAWASAKI sport machine.
The brake system was also upgraded with a GALE SPEED 4P axial caliper and a SUNSTAR Premium Racing front disc rotor, as well as a GALE SPEED VRD Series Master Cylinder. This full-spec master cylinder can be adjusted to suit each individual with its variable lever ratio function. Based on the slightly fanatic concept of minimizing machining to fully showcase the forged form, this master cylinder has a chic design that blends in perfectly with the look of the bike.
Since the owner places value on the lightness of the bike, he replaced the swingarm with an OVER Racing Type 7 to reduce weight. By keeping the length and width of the swingarm at stock values, the suspension is strengthened without compromising the basic balance of the machine, and it also contributes to weight reduction and supports suspension movement. The wheels, which are also a big key to weight reduction, were replaced with GALE SPEED's TYPE-GP1S Forged Aluminum. These wheels consist of five spokes that have been uniquely machined to achieve high rigidity along with reduced weight, while maintaining flexibility.
The owner, who enjoys overnight touring, is a fan of HenlyBegins seat bags and owns three bags of different capacities. These bags are secure, functional, and provide perfect storage, allowing him to carry the luggage he needs without worry. Since he has completed all of his customization projects, he is now looking forward to enjoying his ride to the fullest.
