City Streets, Confident Ride: KAWASAKI Ninja 650 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI Ninja 650" custom by Webike community user "Takapi". Lightweight and slim, the Ninja 650 is easy to handle, with an upright, rider-friendly position that ensures comfort even on long rides. Powered by a parallel-twin engine that emphasizes low-to-mid-range torque, it offers more than enough torque to enjoy city streets.
This city-friendly machine’s brake system has been upgraded with the installation of a NISSIN Radial Brake Master Cylinder Kit for more direct braking feel. Paired with Brembo's ROAD series brake pads, which provide outstanding durability and stopping power for both front and rear, the machine has acquired more reliable braking power.
For even smoother handling, 330g heavyweight bar ends from POSH were added. The owner chose green ones with a matte anodized finish, which dress up the handlebar area while reducing unwanted vibrations. Both the brake and clutch levers are ZETA-made, designed to fold up, down, and forward to prevent damage from falls. Large vent holes at the tips reduce wind pressure even at high speeds. Additionally, 20 levels of lever adjustment allow for precise tuning, and the short levers, which are ideal for sporty riding, provide enhanced control. The steps have been upgraded to BABYFACE (Sato Racing) Rearsets. With exceptional position, rigidity, and shifting feel, the grippy step bars make winding roads even more enjoyable. These subtle changes significantly enhance riding performance, letting you ride through the streets with comfort, confidence, and power.
