The fuel tank, side covers, tail cowl, and front fender (all stock) are all plated. The swingarm which was replaced, the stock rear brake, engine cover, front fork outers, headlight brackets, and other parts were polished to match the plated parts. The front brakes, including Nissin calipers, master cylinders, and discs, and the Ohlins shocks at the rear are modern parts, but the gold rimmed wheels are Hayashi Racing and the clip-ons are TOMMASELLI, for a more retro feel. This custom was built about 20 years ago, and everything except the chamber has been left as is. It is truly impressive that despite being approximately 50 years older than Kawasaki's current flagship Z series, the 750SS itself has stayed in commission for over 20 years after undergoing such modifications.

Bodyworks
