Leisurely Rides: HONDA PCX125 Custom

 4 min read

Webike's Opinion

Here is a "HONDA PCX125" custom by Webike community user "sct". The owner has been enjoying leisurely rides on this PCX125, now fitted with a sidecar—a dream he has always had. Whether it's for touring or grocery shopping, the sidecar adds plenty of storage space, making it convenient when going fishing or shopping.

Adding a sidecar makes the bike asymmetrical, which changes the way it's ridden. As a result, the rider's position also needs to be adjusted. To maintain the optimal riding posture, he installed the ZETA Bar Riser Kit to adjust the handlebar position. Additionally, to reduce handlebar wobble, the POSH Quick Release Brace Shaft Type 2 was added. This reduces vibrations, particularly during slow riding or deceleration, aiming for more stable handlebar control. For a more comfortable ride, the owner chose the World Walk Long Windshield, which significantly reduces wind hitting the rider, lessening fatigue on long tours. The color scheme for both the PCX125 and the sidecar's windshields is smoke, creating a unified look. The suspension has been upgraded to KITACO Rear Shock Absorbers. The owner says that even at high speeds, the bike offers stability and feels less prone to sinking compared to the stock shocks, making for a comfortable ride. He adds that while the sidecar tends to lift during left turns, the overall stability is still well-maintained.

The urban scooter transforms into a three-wheeled vehicle with the addition of a sidecar, expanding its possibilities for new adventures. Just looking at the photos is enough to excite the imagination.
