RED HIP'S MONKEY

This all-carbon full-cowl Monkey is definitely not something you see everyday. The concept behind this project was to "try to make as much as possible without any help from professionals". The most difficult part was the area around the headlight, where the cowl has a very curved shape making it difficult to apply the carbon sheet, and the work had to be redone twice. We are impressed that the team did not get discouraged and managed to complete this amazing cowl! Carbon is also used in various other places throughout the bike, which gives it a completely different feel from that of a normal painted finish.

Handle

Hats off to the idea of using wrinkle paint in areas where carbon could not be applied in order to bring the look together. The SP Takegawa meters that originally have white panels are also finished in a clear orange for a great attention to detail. An aluminum tank for the FI Monkey is used, with carbon material and putty modeling applied to it. The exterior was not simply stuck on, originality was pursued in every detail.

Engine

The engine is 88cc and is designed to be "safe, fun, and easy to ride". It is not visible in the photo, but the inside of the cowl is finished with candy orange wrap paint.

Chassis

The bike is lowered with 6-inch wheels, just barely making ground clearance.
