Japanese Custom Culture

Here is an original series "JCC" stands for "Japan Custom culture" written by Webike Japan. There is no doubt that Japan has one of the best and unique custom parts and its culture in the motorcycle industry, but the language barrier has led to the closure of JDM motorcycle culture to the outside of Japan. Through this JCC contents, we present you one of a kind custom and mods bikes by professional craftmen and enthusiasts who just can't stop loving motorcycle.

Webike's Opinion

Here is a "HONDA CROSS CUB 110" custom by Webike community user "Shahoi". No matter how cool and beautiful the motorcycles are, riders have some complaints on them at the same time. This Cross Cub is customized to achieve a perfect usability during ride by thoroughly eliminating any disadvantages the owner has found. The stock gauge is minimum necessary for riding, including a speedometer, neutral indicator, blinkers, engine warning indicator and high-beam indicator. However, the meter is large, and even if you want to retrofit a different type of instrument, you must be forced to mount them on the handlebar. Therefore, the owner replaced it to an ACEWELL electronic meter that offers a richer variety of functions in a more compact package. A common feature of the Cub series is its fuel efficiency of over 60km/L. This figure is one of the highest among mopeds. On the other hand, there is a disadvantage in that the tank capacity is only 4.3 liters. With this capacity, it is good enough for daily use such as go shopping and commuting, but during a single touring trip, it will still require many visits to the gas station. The owner has addressed this issue by customizing the Cross Cub with a larger-capacity tank. Of course, this Cross Cub has also been customized to take advantage of its unique characteristics. The concept of the Cross Cub is outdoor style, and the ZETA's handlebar and Yoshimura's GP-Magnum UP Exhaust show that the owner is conscious of off-road riding. The rear rack, which is convenient for daily use, was installed with a product for two passengers, and the box is a GIVI top case. In addition, various customizations seem to have been made to the extent that even the owner forgot about them.
