A Personal Best After Countless Bikes and Millions Spent: HONDA CBR600RR Custom

Webike's Opinion

Here is a "HONDA CBR600RR" custom by Webike community user "Tacchan". The owner has owned a total of 23 motorcycles and has spent over 200 million yen on bikes. Yet, in the end, he confidently declares that the CBR600RR is the best. This 2024 CBR600RR replaces his previous ride—a full-power 2010 CBR600RR European model. He’s determined to tackle everything he couldn’t with his previous CBR600RR and has eagerly jumped into customization. Though he only purchased the bike in February 2025, he has already begun making modifications to suit his vision.

One of the first upgrades was the TRICK STAR Radiator Core Guard, which he installed immediately after purchasing the bike. Not only does it protect the core from pebbles and insects, it also prevents accidental damage during maintenance. For the exhaust, he chose the TSR Slip-On Titanium HPS5, a brand known for their no-nonsense quality and performance. The silencer section is titanium, while the pipes are stainless steel. The sound profile delivers a deep bass at low revs, transitioning into a high-pitched four-cylinder roar at higher RPMs. To clean up the rear end, he swapped the long, drooping stock fender for a sleeker TSR Fender Eliminator Kit. He also upgraded the windshield to a TSR unit, which is 40mm taller than stock, significantly improving wind protection. The smoked tint adds a sharper look that he really likes. However, while visibility isn't an issue during the day, he advises caution when looking through the windshield at high speeds at night, as the windshield may limit visibility. For the rearsets, he went with the BABYFACE Performance Step Kit. With nine different position settings, he can fine-tune his riding posture to perfection.

Lastly, as advice for anyone considering this bike, the owner shares his perspective: "HONDA, for better or worse, builds motorcycles with a classic riding feel and acceleration. If you're after pure, uncompromising speed, you might be better off with something like a Ninja ZX-10RR."
