Here is a "HONDA CBR1100XX SUPERBLACKBIRD" custom by Webike community user "EIJI". The owner had dreamed of owning a CBR1100XX Super Blackbird for over a decade. When his son bought a CB1300SF, it gave him the perfect excuse to finally get one so they could go touring together. However, in stock form, the difference between the two bikes was like night and day. Compared to his son’s CB, the Blackbird felt like a real handful. It was heavy and difficult to move around, sluggish in quick transitions, and the stiff suspension made rough corners scary, as if the bike might bounce out of control. To overcome these issues, he started modifying the bike, and now, it’s just as comfortable and easy to ride as the CB1300, if not more so.

According to the owner, the upgrade that completely transformed the ride was the JB-POWER MAGTAN wheels. With them, the bike now flicks through corners effortlessly, like a lightweight 250cc. It was a pricey investment, but he strongly recommends it, as the difference is immediately noticeable. He also suggests applying a glass coating before installation to make maintenance easier.

For the bodywork, he went all-in with full carbon fiber, using parts from A-TECH, Magical Racing, and custom one-offs to significantly reduce weight and give the bike a sleek, upgraded look. The carbon weave is uniform throughout, but he deliberately chose an A-TECH Carbon Kevlar Meter Panel to add a subtle accent. Since the new under cowl meant removing the center stand, he picked up a J-TRIP Stand for Begginers. He says it’s as easy as propping up a bicycle, making it a must-have. With the carbon theme in full swing, he also replaced the windshield with a Magical Racing Carbon Trim Windshield. The carbon pattern along the lower edge sharpens the look, while the tinted windshield creates a striking contrast—turning heads wherever the bike goes.
