Performance Mods and Their Benefits: HONDA CB1100 Custom

 4 min read

Webike's Opinion

Here is a "HONDA CB1100" custom by Webike community user "chakorokun". The brake section is upgraded with a BREMBO Brake Caliper P4. This enhancement results in increased braking power, improved control, and stable stopping performance. The SUNSTAR PREMIUM RACING Front Disc Rotor is well-matched with Brembo, and the controllability when applying hard brakes at high speeds is significantly improved. Additionally, being a floating rotor enhances resistance to heat and heat dissipation, mitigating power loss caused by brake heat. With the improved braking performance, it becomes necessary to reconsider the machine's settings and one's braking points, adding a layer of enjoyment to the customization process. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, the YOSHIMURA Hand Bent Titanium Cyclone is a handmade exhaust. The lightweight design with titanium further enhances the performance of the CB1100. Its greatest allure lies in its beautiful silhouette, with soft curves achieved through hand bending that surpass what can be achieved with machine bending. Despite its luxurious appearance, it has a surprisingly quiet exhaust sound. The NITRON Rear Suspension Twin Shock TWIN R1 Series is a straightforward shock absorber with supple movement and stability. The default setting leans towards a more aggressive and firm ride rather than a softer, more comfortable one, but adjustments are possible. The GALE SPEED Aluminum Forged Rear Wheel attains stability during hard braking and high-speed corners by incorporating curved ribs inside the spokes. The riding experience also feels lighter when leaning into corners, contributing to improved fuel efficiency.
