Black Edition with Smart Upgrades: HONDA CB1000R Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA CB1000R" custom by Webike community user "Shoya". The owner, who had long been riding super sport bikes, decided to switch to something with a more relaxed riding posture as he got older. His choice was the 2023 CB1000R Black Edition. He was drawn to the unique feel of the bike's all-black aesthetic and the slightly rebellious yet refined design that’s not as aggressive as a streetfighter. Wanting to preserve the bike's excellent stock performance, he avoided making major modifications to the body and instead mainly focused on enhancing the bike’s electronic features to improve convenience.
To make the most of modern devices like his smartphone, a DAYTONA Multi Bar Holder and SYGN HOUSE Smartphone Holder were installed, providing plenty of space for mounting accessories around the handlebars. For extra safety and to capture memories from his tours, he opted for a DAYTONA dash cam. This ultra-compact front and rear camera system comes with parking monitoring and allows video playback via smartphone. For securing the power supply, he installed a slim and discreet 12mm-wide DAYTONA USB Power Supply, and for additional power needs, a DAYTONA Accessory Power Supply Unit (D-UNIT). Compact enough to fit under the seat, it’s wired to the main key, allowing the power to turn on and off with the bike, preventing battery drain from standby power consumption.
Additionally, he added HONDA Wheel Stripes. The digital silver metallic with red accents pairs well with the all-black body, the owner's helmet color, and the red HONDA tank emblem.
