Customize your dream bike anyway you want: Honda CB750F Custom
Team CB's's CB750F
Nowadays, so-called classic bikes are becoming scarce and their prices are skyrocketing. There is a hesitation to use such classic bikes for amateur racing or racetrack events. However, this machine was born of the desire to "ride a CB-F", and was newly acquired and customized in order realize this dream. The bike was originally built by a Team CB's rider using his own parts, and the current owner bought it to use for practice on the racetrack. The rear suspension and swingarm were additionally modified, and the under-tail exhaust was made at the request of the current owner.
Team CB's has been handling CB-Fs for many years since the customization boom in the 1990's. They have not only seen the limits of the CB-F but also experienced how to go beyond those limits by creating replacements for obsolete parts and incorporating modern techniques. With this know-how they are able to make CB-Fs that are safe and enjoyable by current standards. So it is only natural that customers come to them looking for a CB-F that is not available anywhere else. If the CB-F is properly tailored, it can be made to meet the owner's needs without putting too much strain on the bike, so Team CB's strives to create customs that will make you want to ride rather than worry about ruining a classic.
Electrical
The gauges are original carbon paneled with an ULTRA step motor engine tachometer and WITH ME digital multi-gauge. The front master cylinder is a GALESPEED VRM, and with the addition of a speedometer, mirrors, and headlight, the bike is ready for street use.
Bodyworks
The front cowl is the stock bikini cowl of a CB400SFVersionR mounted on the headlight bracket. The handlebars were changed to clip-ons.
Engine
An additional oil cooler was added to the CB750F engine. Reinforcement above the frame pivot and on the seat rail riser can be seen.
Intake & Exhaust
The carburetor is an FCR φ37mm, and since a refresh of the engine is also planned, it is clear that the total specifications will be finalized in the future.
The exhaust is an under-tail type made according to the owner's wishes, and the silencer is placed inside the seat cowl.
Chassis
The front forks and triple tree, 3.50-17 size wheels and Nissin 4-piston front calipers are made from stock CBR600RR parts. The front brake discs are made by Moto-Master, and the brake lines are made of stainless steel mesh by SWAGE-LINE.
The swingarm is by Wheelie and made of 7N01 aluminum with a pentagonal cross-section. The rear wheels are high point 6.00-17 and the drive chain is DID size 520.
The rear brakes are a combination of GALESPEED master cylinders + Brembo P234 calipers + SUNSTAR premium racing discs. The rear shocks are Aragosta piggyback type with laydown mounts. The step is an aftermarket part for the CB1300SF (manufacturer unknown).
