BULL DOCK's Z1-R

The Z1-R is a complete custom by BULL DOCK, called the GT-M (Genuine Tuning Machine), featuring a sleek black exterior that is accented with red wrinkle paint on the cylinder head and carburetor top cover. This build takes the Z1-R's original café racer style to the next level, creating a design that can be ridden pillion without feeling restricted. The position of the pillion steps was carefully considered before installation, and the tail-pipe's position was slightly lowered to avoid interfering with the passenger's feet.

The 1200cc engine of this bike has been converted to Z1000J's head and cylinder, with a head bypass oil line added and Pistal Racing forged pistons installed. The BULL DOCK McCoy gear-type oil pump and BULL DOCK's original 6-speed cross-mission have also been installed. The torquey and easy-to-handle engine is further improved, and the reliability has been greatly enhanced by the oil pump replacement. The engine itself is mounted 10mm higher, improving the handling. Even with its café racer style, this bike is designed to be enjoyed by two. This custom has perfectly incorporated elements that many riders aspire to but find difficult to realize. This flexibility is one of the GT-M's great strengths.

Bodyworks

The bikini cowl and aluminum fuel tank are made by BULL DOCK McCoy, and the position of the cowl is well balanced. The meter is located in the center of the original carbon panel and features an ULTRA stepping motor tachometer and warning lights. The YOSHIMURA PRO-GRESS Meter and ACTIVE Monitor V3 speedometer are placed below. The left and right masters are Brembo RCS with McCoy stems, and a HYPER PRO Steering Damper is installed on the upper side.

The front blinkers were relocated from the side of the stock bikini cowl to the side of the oil cooler as shown here to keep the body simple and highly visible.

The seat is the McCoy Supreme, a familiar design on the GT-M. While enhancing the rider's comfort and maneuverability, the pillion rider's comfort is also improved here.

Engine

The engine incorporates Z1000J's head and cylinder, and an oil bypass was added to the head. The covers were wrinkle-painted. The displacement was increased to 1200cc with forged pistons from Pistol Racing, a McCoy 6-speed cross transmission, and a McCoy gear type oil pump.

Intake & Exhaust

The carburetor is a FCR Φ39mm dual stack funnel design. The gold coloring here and around the brakes adds a nice accent to the carburetor.

Chassis

The front forks are NITRON NTR43 and the front brake cocnsists of Brembo GP4 RX calipers and SUNSTAR Premium Racing discs.

Rear brake is also Brembo CNC P2 caliper and SUNSTAR Premium Racing disc. The exhaust system is BULL DOCK's Win McCoy Neo with a tailpipe whose position was sightly lowered.

The swingarm is McCoy made of 7N01 aluminum, and rear shocks are NITRON Stealth. The front and rear wheels are Marchesini forged magnesium alloy, M10R with 3.50-17 / 6.00-17 sizes. The tires are Bridgestone RS11 in sizes 120 / 70ZR17 and 190 / 55ZR17.
