About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the camshaft, wonderful machining throughout and great quality bearing fitted.About the feeling of use: I was looking for a camshaft to liven the little 125cc engine which it has and I'm really happy with how it performs on the road but it has taken a little power away down low which is not desirable for my offroad riding.Products to buy together: Some type of fuel controller is needed to be purchase along side the camshaft, the Kitaco I-Map is well suited to this type of performance modification.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour, was an easy job to complete after reading through the Honda service manual directions. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing but no longer the cheapest mid RPM camshaft available here on Webike since the Clipping Point ST-1 camshaft was just recently released, that also looks to have a better power curve for my offroad use.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Webike has many camshaft to choose from and the choice is difficult, much research is required to get as close as possible to your desired performance outcome.View Detail
* About quality and texture, Well finish camshaft with coated cam lobes and smooth rolling bearings.* About the feeling of use, I am very impressed with how this camshaft can change the engine characteristics of the 125cc engine, for my local riding with the RPMs down low most of the time this is a great choice.* Products to buy together, For fuel management the Kitaco I-map is a great addition as it is simple to use and budget friendly.* Difficulty of installation, You might think changing internal engine parts is difficult but with a little research and preparation the camshaft on this engine is very achievable to do yourself. The process was completed in 40 minutes with a little difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the Kitaco camshafts is at the entry level range. There are a few other brands at this price point but for me the Kitaco brand is the one to go with as they also have the I-map to support your engine changes.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, The entry level camshaft do not come with the decompression mechanism like the OEM camshaft, so if you are pairing this camshaft with a BBK you may also need to get a new battery with a higher CCA output. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.View Detail
It was surprisingly easy to replace it, and I did it after looking at the Manufacturer's and individual's Page. The only special tools I used were a universal holder, a socket wrench for the Tappet, and a Thickness Gauge. In my case, because OEMCam was not pulled out, I loosened both IN/EX of Tappet and pulled it out. Other than that, I kept the information on Net. After exchange and Tappet adjustment, I changed Mapping of I-MAP and completed the work. I thought that it was a work that Hurdle was high, but it was quite easy and I was disappointed. The engine feels good from 6000rpm which was not the case with the normal engine. I think that the maximum speed also rises because the power of the high rotation range has risen. By the way, Spec. is SprocketNORMAL, I-MAP No.2, YOSHIMURAExhaust System, High flow air filter, intake hole expansion Large, Slipper clutch. But I think it was worth more than the price. Also, the Manufacturer was temporarily out of stock, but Webig had it in stock and it arrived quickly.View Detail
