[4VALVE TWINCAM HEAD(FINGER FOLLOWER)] It aims for the best, the strongest engine, bringing together the tales of DAYTONA technology. It is a [4V-twin camshaft head big bore kit] presented to 4-stroke mini enthusiasts.
It is NEW DOHC head developed to aim for the strongest DOHC engine in history. It is a new generation DOHC engine which achieved overwhelming performance exceeding the conventional DOHC head was born, and incorporating the new mechanism and repeating various try and error. In addition, it introduces the latest technology in terms of function but it inherits the conventional compact and retro design. It achieves a compact head shape by reducing the dimensional relationship by considering the physical problem of the DOHC head, and the clearance between the head and the front tire to the utmost (equivalent to the former DOHC).
It achieves larger IN valve diameter from Old DOHC φ21 to φ21.5, by exclusive design to 124.8 cc (bore 54mm). The port shape adopts a high velocity port (B type port) that emphasizes the flow velocity. It boil down the flow fast and flow rate to the limit and optimize port shape using a flow bench. In addition, it adopts the 8mm plug for the spark plug to ensure the heat capacity of the combustion chamber.
The NEW DOHC head abolished the conventional direct drive type valve drive, and adopts a finger follower rocker arm adopted for F1. This makes it possible to optimize the shape of the combustion chamber by establishing valve interchanging angle. The angle between the valve interchanging angle from IN25-degrees/EX 26-degrees of old DOHC to IN 20-degrees/ EX 21-degrees.
It maximizes the clearance between the head and the front tire, with physical problem of DOHC head, and it compacts the dimensions and achieves a compact head shape (equivalent to the old DOHC). It adopts a φ54 ceramic coated cylinder excellent in abrasion resistance, lubricity, durability and seizure resistance. It achieved the maximum 124.8cc within the displacement of the original 2-types in combination with the long stroke crank included in the kit.•It is required to mount it together with DAYTONA company PA racing outer rotor kit (73421) or MID outer rotor kit (73246). •It is recommended to mount it together with the secondary side clutch kit of DAYTONA company. •Please make crankcase boring (56.6.56.8mm, depth 27.0mm) in advance and prepare for replacing required parts at the same time and then perform assembly of the crankcase (lower back) when mounting this product.In addition, DAYTONA does not perform crankcase bowling.Please ask a specialist. •Please use the attached plug (NGKER 8). It is impossible to use a STD plug.
