The Vulcan Riders Association – commonly known as the VRA – is the largest club for Kawasaki Cruiser bikes and owners in the world. Now it has been officially recognised in Europe by Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V. (KME) with a certificate of affiliation.

At a ceremony in the Kawasaki head offices for Europe located in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam, the worldwide President of the VRA Graham Rees-Nicholls (“Badges”) and the Vice President Davide Parolin (“Aztek”) met managing Director of KME, Mr Kenji Nagahara.
Awarding them the first certificate of its kind created by KME, Mr Nagahara commented :
“Kawasaki Motors Europe has formally recognised the dedication and loyalty of the Vulcan Riders Association. I was delighted to meet the Worldwide President and Vice President of the VRA; everyone at Kawasaki Motors Europe wishes them success both now and in the future.”

The VRA caters for any Kawasaki cruiser bike from the early VN1500 and VN750 V-twin machines of the 1980’s through to the current 2019 Vulcan S and has approximately 11,000 members in 31 countries from the USA to Australia.

Graham Rees-Nicholls (aka “Badges”) commented:

“This year sees some of the VRA celebrating its 20th Anniversary and to have the signing of this Certificate of Affiliation with Kawasaki during this time means so much. We hope to build on this with a closer relationship with Kawasaki in the future”.

Davide Parolin (aka “Aztek”) added

“The visit to KME and to be the witness to signing the certificate by Mr Nagahara, MD and our World President, “Badges”, was a great honour with such a feeling of pride. It’s like a dream come true and I hope that it will develop into a strong collaboration between VRA and Kawasaki.”
